ABOUT ME

As far back as I can remember, I just knew that "reality" wasn't "it"; that there was more to life than meets the eye. I just knew that meaning freedom and happiness are available to all of us, no matter what our story has been. We can dis-create the old to build a bridge to our future, if we just commit to our self to do what it takes.

I was privileged to work with incest survivors for 15 years and the courage, strength and dedication to healing that they shared with me touched my heart for always. I felt honored to assist them to shine the light in the shadows and discover their truths, and to take action from that raised awareness to live their truth in the everyday.

I then moved on to a national organization where my favorite program was designed to support people managing mental health challenges to start their own businesses - to increase independence and a sense of purpose.

What most struck me, in the work at both agencies, was how our stories can limit our vision and thus our choices, as well as control our decision-making. The truth of who we are (in essence) is so brilliant and so free that it can be awe-fully frightening.

Along the way, I raised my two children as a single mother from the time they were six and nine years old until they left the nest, got my MA in business communication, which opened the door to global connections, apprenticed as a website designer, trained with two coach training schools, and most recently, certified as a coach.

I left the not for profit world when a serious illness stopped me from "doing" for six months. That inner exploration and healing journey was a gift that opened me to the next phase of my journey. I was led to work with a powerful mentor who taught me how to integrate spirit into my personal and professional life, to heal the split between spirit and matter, and to dream my dream into being.

I began coaching in 2002 and was gifted with simple, yet powerful tools to assist others to awaken to what's possible for them. The future does inform the present when we learn to "listen".

Potential is unlimited... the only work is to allow the shadows to show us the truth vs. our habit of running from it. "Being" can inform the "doing", which allows the energies currently available to us on the planet to support our journey to connect with the people, resources and opportunities that most fully support all of who we are.

I've learned to let life live me and there's nothing like it.
