What About Bob? The Secret. Overboard, The Wedding Singer, Steel Magnolias, Fried Green Tomatoes, The Jerk, House Sitter, Men in Black, 50 First Dates, pretty much anything funny I can use to detach my mind from the real world. :)

Actually, I love just about anything and everything, although I've never quite developed a fondness for Rap or Hip Hop.

I just loved Sydney Sheldon's novels. I couldn't wait for the next one! Now that he's passed, I guess I'll have to. Stephen King is a favorite (the Dead Zone being my favorite Stephen King book). I enjoy reading Anthony Robbins. Humor and Satire are always fun. Jeff Foxworthy, Christopher Buckely and most of the authors in that genre are great.
Not a book, but Steve Martin is probably one of the most creative writers of the 20th century. Who else could come up with this:
"How many people have cats? Now let me ask you this ... do ya trust 'em? Because I've gotta get a pair of cat handcuffs ... and I gotta get 'em fast. What a drag ... I found out my cat was embezzling from me. You think you know a cat for ten years, he pulls something like this. I found out that while I was away, he would go out to the mailbox, pick up the checks, take 'em down to the bank and cash 'em ... disguised as me. I wouldn't have caught him, but I went out to his house, outside, where he sleeps ... and there was about $3,000 worth of cat toys out there. Any you can't return 'em 'cause they have spit all over them ... "

I love creative people and being around creative people. I think it's great when there's a wonderful show on the radio and traffic keeps me stuck in my car long enough to hear the end. Happiness and happy people who want to bring joy to others are great! I just have such an appreciation for nature and literature and architecture and think it's just amazing that we get to live in a place where all of these things are around us.

I feel very sorry for people who can never see the good in life. There is so much potential in everyone and when people don't realize it or try to take it away from others, it bothers me.
Mean people and people who are always angry are so annoying. I just wish they would chill out and learn to enjoy themselves. So much energy wasted with all of that angst.

Hillary Jollimore is an Air Force Veteran and has traveled extensively both with the service, for business and for personal enjoyment. Her parents instilled a wonderful work ethic in her. Her first corporate creative endeavor was as a marketing assistant at her father's electronics company. She started out running errands and ended up writing ad copy which ran in national magazines. She was just sixteen and employed at an executive level, while her friends flipped burgers for pocket change and played at the beach. A Uniden buyout of the company was behind her decision to join the Air Force where she developed a strong sense of self and community. After her tenure in the Air Force, she industry hopped a bit, from restaurants to banking to software yet,she always found her heart in the creative process of writing. She am a managing partner of New Tampa Specialty Service, LLC and the CEO and Creative Director of Alexis Promotions, LLC. She is also a freelance writer an author and a stress theorist (ask her what that is..). She is a featured contributing author to the new compilation book "The Power of Leadership" due out in July. The Strength Through Serenity hardcover series will begin release at the end of September in 2008. She has written fiction and satire in the past and this go around, hopes to help as well as entertain. Hillary and her husband transferred to Florida in 2001, but she remains a New England girl at heart. Her entertaining delivery and her down home manner, make Hillary one of the most sought after corporate trainers and speakers of the day.
