Daily Paintings

Well I have made a BIG decision to begin a new goal with my art.  I intend to make a painting everyday beginning September 1st.  I will eventually set up a video camera as I paint and speed up the process to show the work and how it is created.  I will put the paintings up on Ebay for auction for friends and family to purchase.  All of my friends and family have been asking for years 'I want to buy a painting' but I was never motivated in doing something specific, so instead I plan on everyday creating a new piece and sending it off to the universe through Ebay.  If a painting doesn't sell it will remain for saie on my web page www.gayleetcheverry.com where my portfolio is.  I will post blogs here about my paintings plus pictures of the end results.

I am really excited about this process because it will force me to paint daily.  I love to paint anyway and this way you all are like my 'personal trainers' that I must show up with my work.

I am really excited to share this with all of you & will keep you posted of the progress.

Is there anything you could do everyday to live out your passion?  What is it?  Please share!  I'd love to hear what you'd like to do.

peace & blessings,

Gayle

That's beautiful! Have you ever played with Adobe Illustrator?  I am just learning how to use it and it blows my mind away with the possibilities.  I've used Photoshop in the past, but now I can interwork the two programs.

Have not used Adobe yet. Seen and and thought about it alot! Using Microsoft Digital Image 2006 now. LOVE what can be done with just a click of the mouse on digital pic's through the Editors out today. B/W is great and love to play with that in the print and enlargement process with toners and filters also. Time being the only issue. Realize now how much I have missed using my cameras. Thank you, Gayle for the inspiration.

Big Hugs,

Chris

My pleasure!

Wow, thanks for that!  Yes these computer programs are just insane with what is possible.  I use the programs for doctoring up photographs (distortion, effects, etc) as inspiration for my paintings.
