Hot men, politics, Persian language and culture, the Nissan X-Terra (I am still trying to figure this one out), raw & basic vegetarian foods, honesty, masculinity, that amazing lightening-strike feeling that happens when I look into certain people's eyes, freestyle music, rock music, the human body, freedom, dancing, a good long sweaty workout.

Stuck-up people, materialism, dishonesty, judgementalism, inequality, disregard for a person's feelings.

Vanessa Calderon, R.N. holds a degree in registered professional nursing in New York State and has experience in primary care and urgent care settings, long-term care, short-term rehabilitation care and gastroenterology nursing.



In 1995, Vanessa began researching and publicly using her natural psychic medium ability and began studying astrology and tarot to supplement her holistic and metaphysical knowledge. In 1997, Vanessa became initiated as a Reiki Master/Teacher in Nevada after her first contact with a Reiki Master resulted in her discovery that she has the ability to, "see" into the human body as a medical intuitive and healer.



Putting her polictical science studies and desire to build a career in politics aside, Vanessa became a registered nurse in order to ground herself in the health sciences. The backbone of Vanessa's holistic and metaphysical practices is built around her opinion that all scientific disciplines are constantly proving the existance of spirit with every new breakthrough, and with every new discovery.



Vanessa has been doing tarot, psychic medium and astrology readings since 1995 and has been practicing and teaching Reiki and energy work since 1997. Vanessa's clientel hail from all over the United States and several countries around the world.



Vanessa has recently completed a certificate program in Forensic Nursing through Kaplan University's continuing education program. These studies help her to combine elements of her ability to psychically provide details about crimes and missing persons with knowlege of nursing as it pertains to law and death investigation.

On a very personal level, providing readings for my clients gives me a sense of purpose. An intelligence and presence that is greater and much more expansive than we are proves its existence during every session. This brings me comfort, and I hope that it brings some kind of comfort to my clients when they are given some proof that we are truly not alone, and that spirit lives beyond what we humans have the ability to perceive.



I believe that scientists are the people who will eventually prove the existence of spirit. Both science and metaphysics will eventually meet in the middle, which is why I practice and study continuously in both fields. Genuine service to humanity is acheived through both avenues equally. This is the reason why I use the term, "complementary" instead of the word, "alternative" to describe Reiki and all other holistic forms of, "healing". Ultimately it is the client who chooses which avenue is best for his or her health and well-being so I strive to have some experience in both, to understand the benefits of each, and to have some knowlege about how they are both used most effectively.



A foray into nursing as it pertains to law is an avenue that I have now begun to persue through continuing education. This will allow me to connect further with my first love, politics and law; and it also adds grounded and basic scientific knowlege to my ability to provide psychic information about crimes and missing persons. This is a part of my metaphysical practice that I will continue to expand on in the future.



Lastly, and most definitely not the least, is that I like to show people how much fun metaphysics can be: Tarot and Astrology are as entertaining as they are enlightening, so there is a lighter side to my services that I will never overlook as being the best thing about what I do!
