We all have one.
We see it in others, some accept it within themselves.
I just posted a quick blog about Debbie Ford's new DVD on The Shadow Effect. She was one of the first spiritual teachers to shine a light on the Shadow. Something we all have, even alive in the most spiritual people. Many people hide and deny their dark sides, rejecting these aspects of their true natures rather than giving themselves the freedom to live authentically. We see it in others, and sometimes we are very quick to point it out in them. How well do we accept it in ourselves? Ford opened a door of self acceptance and to help people discover the gifts they can discover in their shadows.
Many teachers have offered ideas, tools and techniques on how to move past self destructive patterns. In all my work, I have seen that some people like to share the specific action steps on how they accomplished something, and other people are seeking these action steps so they can create similiar results by using those same steps.
Its more than mere words. My question is: What action steps can you share in how you reconcile with your shadow?
