TURN ON'S

LOL!! I have not been asked my "turn on's" on a spiritual site before. That said, I love to connect with self-aware people who stand on their own two feet and love themselves enough to embrace the totality of their creation. Above all else, I value honesty, integrity and authenticity. I admire and respect those who are courageous enough to fully express the fullness of their Love, regardless of how they perceive it might be received. By Love, I mean how one relates to Life itself, not necessarily to a significant other, although being completely honest with a significant other can be (to some people) the hardest thing to do. I Truly admire those who are courageous enough to be completely vulnerable to themselves/God.

TURN OFF'S

ABOUT ME

Back in 1998, I was given the gift of being encouraged to quit my job and do what I really wanted to do. Being given this opportunity, I set out to find my "Life Purpose." I read books and took tests that would tell me what I was good at doing but was seeking something deeper. I wanted something that would be fulfilling and that would give my life meaning and purpose.

During an internet search, I came across an article by Jon Snodgrass, PhD titled, "Your Special Function according to A Course in Miracles." In the article, Snodgrass stated that your "Special Function" otherwise known as your "Life Purpose" is the exact polar opposite of what you perceive to be the reality of your own guilt, sin or victimization. In other words, what is missing is your gift, your weakness is your strength, your special dysfunction IS your Special Function."

I always had body image issues so when I read that, I thought, "Okay what is my 'special dysfunction?' I'm fat. No, that's not it. I don't like myself. No. I don't LOVE myself!" When that thought crossed my mind, I started jumping around my living room thanking everyone who ever hurt me. I realized that I had drawn all of my hurtful experiences to myself to provide context to understand the content of my thinking. Without the hurtful experiences, I would never know what I had been doing to myself all along. I realized that thoughts were the most powerful tools in the universe and to change my life, I must first change my thinking. I also realized that my "Special Function" was to learn how to love myself and teach other people how to do the same.

That experience led me to creating the "Uncovering the Divine Within Workbook" (get the free download at http://www.healingcenter.com ) and transformed the way I see my experience and my world. Since then, I have helped people all over the world to transcend their limiting thinking and transform their lives.

Recently my work has taken a transformational turn and I have combined my work with EFT with astounding results. I had the intuition to order the complete EFT library and about 10 hours into it, I had the inspiration to try something new. Although my financial situation had not decreased over the past several months, (it had actually gotten better) I started stressing out about finances, which is something I don't usually do. I decided to use EFT in conjunction with my Uncovering the Divine Within work and had astounding results. I went from feeling financially fearful to being financially Free in about 20 minutes. That one event has changed the course of my work and I am now combining my work with EFT to help people overcome their fears and fulfill their dreams even more rapidly. World Awakened Project

Something else that I have been working on lately is called the World Awakened Project. It has been my dream for many years to create a portal that includes a social network, hall of learning, tv and radio programs and a collaborative partnership site... and more. I feel like I am the "vision keeper" for the project but have felt very overwhelmed by the enormity of it all. I always thought that people would be coming to me for the project to connect and link up with others but a few experiences I have had recently have shown me that some of the components are already in place, I just need to bring World Awakened to them.

World Awakened is in the process of moving the radio aspect to Intuitive Soul radio and I'm hoping to form a collaborative partnership with this site, JasonsNetwork. The first Summit meeting for World Awakened will be planned in the Fall of 2009. It will probably be fairly small, (over 50 and less than 150 people) but it feels like it will be a place where collaborative partnerships really begin to take place for this project. Take some time today to think about those who love you. Imagine yourself through their eyes, and ask what it is about you that allows them to care so deeply. Looking at yourself from their perspective might help you understand ways in which you are connected and cherished by those you love and care about. What special and unique qualities do you step forward with and share… Then honour this special person YOU are!

sorry I haven't been back to you in a while but I have been busy and now out of town on business in the mountains of NC. Beautiful up here.

I would love to speak to you about the statement I made and of yours back specially that of our not being in control of our existance. this has been the case as I believe we have been living in a Matrix. On the other hand, I have been blessed with the way out and at that point, we can have our destiny in our own hands and in creator's. Thank you for accepting the friendship! I was "drawn" yesterday to your profile. Looked through your site, and read the free excerpts from your book, "Uncovering the Divine Within". Also refered it to a good friend. I find the material exceptional, and it was synchronicity for my mood. I have taken your quiz and feel that there is much more than the answers you give. I believe that the answers are far more diverse and not really situated for a person of a higher reality but one who is choosing to be there. Theefore the choice of answers did not fit into my reality. If you wish to know more, then we should chat. This is not out of what people call EGO, but more of realizations that a higher dimensional reality is far different that what we are taught or have experienced.

The quiz does mke one think so all is good.
