Beaches, thai food, anything to do with being in, on or near the ocean, carl jung, stan grof , my clients/teachers, my dog/teacher louie, metaphysics, media, conversation, discovering new info and getting it out there, live music , heading out in the jeep, yoga, EFT and of course B-reathing !

Tom Ford, Susan Sarandon and Javier Bardem.... great at their respective arts and effortlessly sexy to boot...a beautiful combination ! :0)

Glass is half-empty type stuff

I'm with the dalai lama (and i quote)
'' Be optimistic...it feels better ''

It surely does ;0)))

I woke up in Riyadh one morning whilst i was working for a well known aerospace company and realised that although I was making what was considered to be a 'good living' I had absolutely no life to speak of, other than work-related stuff and the toys that go with that.

So I gave in my notice, sold my 'stuff', took a year off and went walkabout looking for i knew not what tho' I was pretty sure I would recognise it once I'd found it........and sure enough, only 6 weeks later, I was in the jungles of costa rica and was introduced to the magic that is Transformational Breathing....the rest as they say is history...I flew from there to the States to meet and train with Judi Kravitz the developer of the technique and four years later i am living in Lanzarote (one of the seven Canary Islands situated 50 miles off the coast of southern Morocco) introducing my clients to the wonders of their breath. I 'commute' to the UK and Eire regularly to conduct intro workshops and one-on-one sessions however I spend the rest of my time running Breathing Space Holidays in the place which i think is the best kept secret on the planet aka Lanzarote. It's a magical island..very elemental with many different kinds of landscapes....352 volcanoes....pristine white beaches....palm tree-filled valleys.....and yet only 5% of the land is given over to tourism and the rest of the island is completely untouched.....in short it feels like home and I love it.

If you'd like to know more about the Breath or Lanzarote have a look at my website

www.breath-works.com

There's an image gallery in the 'packages' section.

So there you have it......I'm psyched.....I can hardly remember what it felt like to be in my previous role in Saudi Arabia and the journey grows ever more interesting.....

My goal is to get the whole world breathing better. I'm fairly well versed in PR/Communications and though I plan to continue my one-on-one work I'm excited about the possibilities of using media to reach larger audiences. I'm currently working on a treatment for a TV show which was picked up by a London-based production company earlier this year. We are currently at the pitching stage. I'm crossing everything imaginable !!! LOL :0) This really is a case of 'the dream' becoming reality and I see myself as living proof that if you can think it... you can make it happen.

Get energised.. get clear... get (even more)connected and enjoy the ride !!!!!

x Alan

Hi Alan, Wow, interesting man, interesting page!  Please comment my page with your website so I can remember to have a closer look.  I've not been to the Canary Islands although I've always wanted to - One of the islands has an Aztek pyramid on it. Gran Canaria?  My cousin went to Lanzarote and didn't return to the UK for 10 years. haha

::sighs:: breathe!

Alan,

It's a pleasure sharing our journey with you.

Yes, she is very alert, she is only 6 weeks old in that pic.  She focuses on you, tries to talk to you in baby talk, totally keeps eye contact and is very aware.  A very relaxed baby too, she is like my wife and myself, very calm inside, very patient.  She will lie for long period just looking around the room very relaxed.  She is wonderful.

Thank you for sharing in it.

you know that's weird cos i was sure we'd already connected too

glad you like the beach scene....its a litle reminder that if you give yourself a minute to simply slow down and breathe you can take yourself into a completely different space-place :0)

window in the skies is soooooooo beautiful isnt it.......if you havent seen the video they did for it on youtube its worth a look....theyve spliced together lots of different artists from the 50s to present day and synced their vocals to the song so it looks like they are actually singing the song...it must have taken an age to do ...the result is incredible

have a lovely day

Hi Alan,

Love your page! have just checked it out...you seem to have found real happiness in life. I admire that. Some people search a lifetime and try many different things but still never really acheive it. You have done so..guess it's a bit like winning a lottery. You play it to be in with a chance but the winners are few. I also believe though to appreciate true happiness you have had to have felt pain and heartache at some stage - but with hope and belief, it keeps us going to better things....keep up the good work!

Hi Alan,

Thanks for the kind words. :-)

I have tried a number of variations of rebirthing/holotropic breathwork. It was excellent for bringing stuff up to the surface. AER can then be used to facilitate a fast release of the emotional content.  AER can be seen as a simple but effective way to accelerate any other process for handling emotional stuff.

Cheers
