If you don't know the title of this blog it is the chorus from the R.E.M. song from the early 90s. And of course this little blog was inspired by Jason's latest voice blog. Btw Jason, you are a great set up guy. You remind me of the sotryteller of some TV shows where you want the announcer to just "get on with it," hehe. Only a compliment because it leaves everyone hanging for more.
Anyways ... in total stream of consciousness as I write ... the World has always had signs that the end was near. The Bible was actually written as if we were in "end times" nearly 20 centuries ago as it is.
Every now and then, "signs" are around us. Prophecy is near. The shift is coming. On and on and on.
The truth be told, the "shift" for most enlightened people (like those on this very network) has already happened. We live our lives (as best as we can) in the light.
As a Producer and writer, I make my living by telling all sorts of stories. And even in my mere few years here on this planet, I can attest to many signs that we were in "end times." When I was a kid it was "The Late Great Planet Earth" and Nostadomus that consumed me. I grew up loving "Revelation" in the Bible as my favorite section. The prognosticators are around us all. George Orwell is alive and well today (from a pop culture stance).
2000 was the magic year in recent times. And out here in California, people have been focused on 2012 since the late 90s and they all seemed dissapointed that 2000 wasn't some magical year. The Mayans get most of the credit but, many culture and signs point to 2012 and "the shift."
Some say the poles will reverse. Some say a natual disaster like a meteor will hit the earth and knock it off its orbit. And it appears that the teaser trailer that Jason witnesses for the movie "2012" (Columbia/Sony Pictures), is going to be the focal point for the next 4 years.
And we can all point to the meltdown of everything around us as the ultimate sign once again. I know that I am fascinated by it all. My company Fastlane Entertainment has the rights to and working on a supernatural thriller called "2033" which has elements of the movie "Constantine" in it.
Many people are as fascinated as terrified of what's to come. Good versus evil or dimensional shifts or supernatural phenomenum. It does make for great movies, tv, stories, YouTube clips, and articles and books. But truth be told ....
The shift has already happened. If you live your life enlightened, you are there. No one is perfect. Even the best of us are only human. I look at it like more and more people getting on the "bus of enlightenment" day by day and every now and then, we all get off at a bus stop as life happens to us until we get some guidance or clearance and we hop back on that bus, lol
I know I have been on and off the bus for some time. And this very community of enlightened individuals who are all beautiful inside and out are here to help each other and grow with each other (and make a buck or two would be nice too eh? lol)
So maybe my post resembles more "ramblings from Frank" than it does stream of consciousness but, REMEMBER THAT YOU DON'T NEED TO WAIT ON 2012 OR ANYONE TO SHIFT.
You are already on your way if you are not there now.
Bring on 2012 .... and btw, I hope you enjoy my movive 2033 (if we can get the damn thing done before 2012) hahahaha.
