This morning I sat with Brian Tracy and heard some things that I am going to have to listen to over and over again to let them sink in. The incredible part of being able to learn from the World's Top Trainers is that the learning goes so far beyond what they actually say. The strategies and concepts are amazing and life-changing and that's what I sense about what I picked up this morning.
Brian began by saying that the highest paid work that anyone can have is thinking. Then, he outlined a series of questions to get me thinking about how to make plans that will increase my rewards in business and in my personal life. The whole conversation was based a belief that I hold in common with Brian Tracy: that our business life and our personal lives must merge in order to increase profits.
The way I see the merging is that I know that as a business woman, people are intracting with me (my values, my beliefs, my personality, my preferences, my ability to maintain relationships) on a daily basis. I am my product. That's the bottom line. And that is true for every successful business person. Anyway, I'm getting off on a tangent!
In this conversation, Brian offered a series of 8 questions focused ..ing me to clarify my vision and encourage me to create clear written plans with measurable standards and schedules. If a goal isn't written down, it's just a dream and not likely to come into being.
My favorite question that he asked was: "What one great thing would you dare to do if you were guaranteed not to fail?" Answer the question. Write it down!
So, out of the conversation I got a few golden nuggets and will get more as I listen and practice these strategies. These are strategies I'll be sharing in my FREE teleseminars, too! The sign up for those Business Success Seminars is at www.WorkSmartMommies.com
