Several people have asked about a new project I'm working on called Project Give so here I will share a little about it!
I put a short one page web site with my basic ideas at:

The idea is to show people that giving is a way of living and that what you give comes back to you.
As a speaker, I want to give money away to people in $100 increments on two conditions. One, they don't use the money on themselves or family but that they use it to make a difference in the world. Two, they follow up with me (and eventually Project Give staff) on how they used it.
I'm starting by creating a demo video which I plan to have finished by Christmas (maybe sooner...) This video will show people how little things make a huge difference in the world!
With video in hand, I'm going to try and find corporate sponsors to help Project Give on a wide scale. I want to reach out to high school and college students. Plus, I will talk about other ways of giving as well...The goal is to inspire people to continually look for ways to give!
I have a talk this Sunday 10/12/08 and will be giving away my first $100. And I know of a young boy in Africa that wants to do Project Give in Africa. So this is all very exciting!
If you have any more questions, please let me know. I'm looking for "donations" and corporate sponsors right now. For the first part, if you give a donation your name will be on the movie credits of the Project Give demo video.
