The Oxford Dictionary defines a mentor as a wise and trusted counsellor or teacher, or an influential senior sponsor or supporter. It defines a life coach as an advisor who helps people with problems, decisions, and goal attainment in daily life. Whatever the definition, a mentor is someone that sees you for everything that you are meant to be, and expects more of you than you expect of yourself.
The difference between a Life Coach and a Mentor is simple… A Life Coach is someone who does not need expertise in any particular field; they are only in requirement of the ability to extract the meaning of things from their clients. A Mentor, on the other hand is a person who understands what it is that their clients require for them to evolve into the being they want to be…and more. A Mentor is someone who has an ability to transfer knowledge, educate and train their clients, enabling their clients to push themselves harder and further than they have ever done so in the past.
Warren Andreij Henningsen has spent most of his life training and educating, although it has only been in the past twelve months that he has found his ability to make a living out of it.
“I always thought that my purpose on this planet was to help other people. I went out of my way to help others my whole life, often to my detriment. It took me many years to realise that in helping others, I was actually entitled to help myself in the process.” – Warren A Henningsen
Warren has access to some of the greatest minds, and best information on the planet. His ability to transfer this knowledge and information is unsurpassed. A great teacher is someone who, not only passes on knowledge, but assists and guides his or her students in applying that knowledge.
“I think that accountability is the key. If I can suggest anything it is, if you say that you can do something…Do It!! If you think that you are unable to do something or just don’t feel like doing it…Don’t offer to do it!! This even more so goes for the things you say to yourself. Be accountable for what you say and what you do. Your words create your world, be responsible and accountable for what you say.” – Warren A Henningsen
Warren’s simple system is one that is functioned almost conversationally. His clients gain the ability of learning through conversation. A coach believes in the greatness of the individual and creates a relationship which enables each person to discover their own uniqueness. Somewhat like the days of old, where educators sifted through the mists of time to tell tales which not only entertained but taught at the same time.
Warren blends stories of his own with tales of clients, friends and others when explaining any point of his vast knowledge on the power of the mind, Universal Law, understanding Fear and how to deal with it, dismissing procrastination, accountability and responsibility, just to name few points of his expertise. A good coach/mentor knows when it is time to push, time to be compassionate…even time to hang up the phone. Warren is not in it to make friends, although he inevitably does so (over time).
“Friendship comes through results; I believe that assisting people to achieve greatness is more than enough reason for friendship. It is via the experiences encountered throughout the journey that gets us to where we want to go; friendship is gained as a result. You don’t need to like me to learn from me.” – Warren A Henningsen
Warren is not afraid to take things to the next level in whatever it is that his clients are working on. His ‘straight up’, ‘direct’ attitude and way of handling hurdles is fortunately, somewhat contagious. He treats Fear as a friend, instead of something that is to be dismissed. By accepting Fear instead of trying to avoid it, Warren has found a means of not focusing on it.
“Fear is a natural reaction to the unknown. It is a guide that tells us to take precautions and to look before we leap. That is why, once we attain that which we were seeking, we are no longer in requirement of Fear and thus are no longer guided by it. By accepting Fear as a friend we no longer find ourselves focussing on eliminating it, which is a negative forceful act that draws more Fear to us. Thus, we enable ourselves to focus on the results we seek instead of the Fear that is stopping us.” – Warren A Henningsen
It is said that the word team is an acronym for Together Everyone Achieves More. Never is this truer than when using the services of a mentor like Warren Henningsen. Warren’s integrity is of paramount importance to him.
“What this world currently does not have enough of is awareness. If people could look into the communities based on the notion of community, they would see the results of team work at play in general life. The Jewish Community, the Chinese Community, the Japanese Community… the list goes on and on. Together Everyone Achieves More, T.E.A.M. There is ALWAYS strength in numbers. Bodybuilders call them spotters, someone who supports you (more mentally than physically) to enable you lift greater weight. We are stronger than Me!” - Warren A Henningsen
Within everyone is the innate ability to make change (positive or negative). The major challenge seems to be in accessing this ability. If you are struggling in any part of your life; financially, emotionally, spiritually or physically, opportunity exists to alter your situation.
