Just moved back to my old neighborhood a couple of weeks ago. Oh how I missed this place! A subdivision nestled between two of many lakes in the area and a section of woods behind us. I finally had a chance to go for a walk this morning. There was a chill in the air but the sun was shining and warming. I rediscovered some of my old trails. The solitude was wonderful and refreshing. I found deer tracks and racoon poop LOL. The trails cross a creek and I sat by the bridge to meditate for a spell while listening to the trickling water and the rustle of the trees. The trees are getting some of their fall color as I glanced around in appreciation for the beauty of nature that was surrounding me. I'm home :)
