Let these 'puppet' elected officials in Washington continue to lie about the reasons for the Iraq War and the quagmire, they have placed us in, for one day the truth will come to light. For I believe the President and Tony Blair was well informed about what was going on before putting our great country in this war. They receive their intelligence from the CIA and Britain's intelligence. If the intelligence was correct or not, we will never know for sure, for we are not privileged to this information. However I believe the intelligence gathered by either country was not the real reason, Bush decided to take this country to war in Iraq.

I believe as others, he was given the go ahead by the same money-hungry, powerful, rich people behind the scenes, who pulls the strings of these ‘puppets,’ we call our elected officials, who caused the quagmire we are now stuck in. Their number one agenda was not solely to get rid of Saddam Hussein; the real reason was to gain control of the oil fields in Iraq, it all points back to the same old story of oil, money and greed.

There were no mass destruction weapons found in Iraq, so what was their true agenda for this war? One of the excuses given by our officials was "Oh they had time to move them." How is that, we have satellites that will pick up anything that moves on the ground in Iraq or any other country. What! They play us for stupid?

Our American boys are dying every day, because of those greedy mongers behind the scenes that want to control the oil in Iraq, everything here and around the world. Moreover, remember the lies that were fed to the American people, through the paid pundits of the media. Their agenda was to cause mass fear amongst the American people, so we would rally beyond the President and go to war.

It has been a pack of lies from the get go, and we fell for it, but you can fool some of the people some of the time, but eventually people will wake up and learn the truth. War, killing and strong-arming others will not stop terrorism; it only builds a breeding ground for more terror and destruction. I do not in any way defend real terrorist, but there was no evidence of terrorist in Iraq, that had anything to do with 9-11.

Think about possibly why these people are now doing what they are doing in Iraq, if someone came into your home and slaughtered the people you love, what would you want, nothing more then vengeance. Would that make you a terrorist?

I would never agree or say this would be an appropriate way to handle any situation, but if you are left with no means to fight back, rendered homeless, with nothing accept horrible pain and death around you, what would you do?

(It only goes to prove, killing and trying to strong-arm others to force another to bend to one's will, only breeds more death and killing.)

We must learn to see the human side of things, but how can we do this, if the American people are only permitted to see one side of the issue by our so-called unbiased and fair media. During the war, all one would hear is retired generals talking about smart bombs, and how well the war was going, never allowed to see the dying, pain and destruction of another whole nation of people. God that is sad…

I would like to believe we are still a nation of humane, educated people, that care about others and are willing to converse with others to find the root of the problem. Not a people, who will wipe a whole nation because of oil and greed or if others choose not to live as we do.

Yes, as most people, I believe the media is bought and paid for and must take a great deal of the blame, but the real people running the show is behind the scenes. Playing a game of Russian Roulette with the American people, only to gain power and money, caring nothing about the American people, like you and I or the devastation, they are causing in this great country of ours.

If we do not band together and bring change, I hate to think what we will be facing down the road a few years from now. We either kick these ‘puppet’ officials to the curb and stop being complacent or accept what is soon to come.
