Are you lost and don't know which way to turn? If you are like most you probably answered yes in some area of your life. I have been there many, many times. I really didn't have much guidance as a youngster and as a result I spent a number of years searching in areas that would only leave me feeling more lost. Can you relate?
The issue that most people struggle with is admitting they might be wrong in how they perceive things. But it is perception that defines the quality of your life. If you are like me when I heard this statement, you might be saying to yourself "My life isn't that bad" and you know what? you may be right.
But let me ask you this: are you achieving in life what you desire? If the answer is no, then you are not living the life you were destined to live. So how do we get there?
Great question. Before we can change, we need to look at what needs to be changed. Probably the greatest blessing I have are the mentors in my life. Successful people leaves clues of how they got there. And probably the biggest clue is they had mentors.
You are might be thinking I don't know anyone and who would be interested in guiding me to become this person I would like to be. Great point and here is your first lesson in learning how it is ok to not know or, here goes, be wrong. There I said it, see that wasn't so bad.
A great place to find a mentor is to start readying self discovery books, like "Think and Grow Rich". And what you will find in reading these books, is that is what most successful people do is read books. There is another clue.
Once you start down this path you will find you life is changing. Not that your surrounding are changing, but how you see. Remember how you see it defines the quality of your life.
After you have read a few great books, people will start coming into your life that want to help you achieve your dreams. I promise!! It happens everytime.
