I just got a response from my leaving my name and phone number on a an answering machine. It was the mother of the homeowner. He is deceased. My heart goes out to the mother and father. It takes a long time to recover from such a loss.
As I explained the steps to her, she related to her husband and they agreed to my assistance with filing their claim.

As I have told you before, that I assisted a homeowner who did not pay for my services rendered. She (at the time, lived in GA) signed the contract that according to the laws of North Carolina. She has since move to California. By right I could have her subpoenaed to appear in the North Carolina small claims court. Just think of all the costs that she will incur. Shame on her!
