As a published author, I am consistently sought after as a speaker and I am quoted often. One of my quotes was voted to be included in the Top 10 Healthy Thoughts of 2007.
My newest project, Stress Out, show stress who's the boss book, is now available. This book covers a topic most talked about today - STRESS! and the information in this book is by co-authors who are experts in their field, as well as people just like you sharing their personal experience stories and testimonials.
A portion of proceeds from this book benefit selected charities - when you buy a book - you get to select the charity to get your donation! Win-win-win for everyone.

I am described by others as a real-life example of an impassioned visionary. I began my career at age nine when I opened my first lemonade stand and a backyard carnival. Throughout my childhood I was inspired by the successful business people I saw. I used this early education as a foundation when I started my first of many unique and interesting entrepreneurial ventures at age 19. One of the greatest lessons I learned and one that I “nag” about to aspiring entrepreneurs is the importance of focus and having a written business plan. Yes, your plan will change as you move towards your vision, just as your plans may change during a vacation or planning a party. Studies show that greater than 80% of people, with a written plan will exceed their goals - regardless of the economy.
I continue to participate in regular training courses sponsored by large internet marketing companies, hosting suppliers, internet developer forums and the internet search giant Google. Are you familiar with Google’s new search algorithm – Caffeine??, Do you know how it will effect your internet presence? And are you aware of the importance Google places on social networking? The internet is in constant change and the more you know, the better it can work for you.
Through a consortium of entrepreneurs, I am able to provide many products and services including: social networking, business planning, innovative marketing strategies, joint venture promotions, merchandising programs, internet marketing, niche marketing, book publishing, e-mail marketing, specialized project management, website design, and custom
PowerPoint presentations.
I use my publishing and marketing experience to assist my clients to extend their marketing reach by getting their message in front of new business prospects, through co-op programs, niche marketing, charity fundraising and merchandising programs.
In the books I author and co-author, I includes many of the tools I have learned and I include testimonials from others. In my latest best-seller Stress Out, show stress who's the boss!, I bring together advice from experts in their fields; plus stories and testimonials from individuals interviewed during my extensive search for simple and easy solutions - that work! Knowing that stress can be overwhelming, even with the best self-help efforts, this book includes co-authors who are professional counselors and coaches who can offer the reader additional support.
I am sought after as a speaker on several topics and I am quoted often. One of my quotes was voted by an independent group to be included in the Top 10 Healthy Thoughts of 2007. Based on experience, research and proven techniques I deliver customized presentations with appropriate humor and energy. I am described as "streetwise", charismatic and sincere. My presentations also include personal stories of my own "failures" and successes.
Although I am the recipient of several awards and acknowledgments, I credit my best education to The University of Hard Knocks, with crash courses in taking risks and advanced learning from bouncing back.

I'm hoping you are already having a happy and prosperous 2010- it's great to connect with someone who shares similar philosophies (helping self by helping others).
Cheers!

Actually Jason, I'm confused, are you seeking quality or quantity?
Up until the past few months I have spent quite a bit of time on JN, learning about other members; sending notes of encouragement; referring clients/friends to their products and services; commenting on forums giving support and suggesting other people’s products be considered.
However, I also measure the return on my time investment. JN is not a place where I receive business. As example, my next book is going to be on shelves in less than two weeks. This book is not authored by me alone - other experts in their fields are co-authors of chapters. Plus this book is filled with personal stories, testimonials from everyday folks and links to additional goodies. As I am also the publisher of this book, I directly contacted numerous JN "friends" to be a part of this project. And even though one co-author is also a JN member, we connected through a different site. Of all the people on JN who received a personal invitation from me, less than 1/3 responded even though my account indicates that they opened my message. The past few months I have had to delegate my time to the charities, corporations and media who are buying this book and promoting it and all the people who are a part of it. Several charities are receiving portions of the profits, other charities and corporations are using it for holiday gifts with their logo. I have had many contracts to negotiate, so I have only had a few minutes to drop by and maybe answer a poll or send a friend a note.
I do see that my name is no longer on the home page, thank you for that previous mention. Only a couple of people seemed to notice that it was there and sent me a note.
Since my education includes marketing, I know that my return is not always from the direction I gave my effort, however, it does seem odd that there are so few visits to my website, or in response to my offers on JN. I use the same content on all my online sites and I use several tracking analytics to tell me where my visitors come from. I still have JN links on several of my websites and blogs, however, I don’t track those outgoing links.
So all that being said, I have no idea how many active members JN needs, or if deleting inactive people makes any difference.
Regarding apps you mention, I know very little about the available apps, so I can’t answer that question with any intelligence.
Wishing you awesome and continuing success,
Namaste’

Hey Sumner!! Bless your heart for sharing your feedback and having the patience to wait for mine. No one is questioning your motives or intentions. You are a true champion and JN would be lost without you. As for me, I know I can be a real bastard at times. Without patience and forgiveness from people like you JN would be a dinosaur. Here's to learning from our mistakes and doing what we can to help bring the world together as One. Much love, Jason

For people to be able to come from a place of “how may I serve”, they will have to let go of their need to control others. The minute we attempt to control another person’s behavior we are no longer coming from a place of “how may I serve”, we are in our own agenda.
In order to serve others from love, we have to relinquish judgment, because judgment is also requiring another person to conform to what we want them to do or be.
Being of service is being humble. In order to genuinely give from service, we must also give up any anticipation of a return, including a thank you.
Living our life by “how may I serve”, is not something done out of convenience, to impress anyone or for personal pleasure or gain. It is a commitment. And that commitment can be uncomfortable and inconvenient. It means we have to be willing to take risks, go beyond your comfort zone, take responsibility for our own lives, and live in full faith knowing that our every need will be taken care of.
When we fear not having enough of what we need to take care of ourselves we cannot be of genuine service; instead we have hope that our efforts will bring us some return.
In order to be of service to others, we do have to make sure our own "house" is in order. Self reflection will tell us (when we are willing to listen), what we need to do for ourselves in order to be available to genuinely be of service to others.
Consciously or unconsciously, every one of us does render some form of service or other. If we cultivate the habit of doing this service deliberately, our desire for service will steadily grow stronger, and will make, not only our own happiness, but that of the world at large. ~ Gandhi ~

Hey Jason,
You have chosen to step out of the box and blaze a new trail. Every leader and trail blazer meets with challenges along the way. As you continue to follow your passion, we all learn something more about you and ourselves along the way.
