Thank you for the very nice comments about the www.HighlySensitivePeople.com website I get at least 200,000 and some times over 300,000 "hits" a month from all over the world. It's an important, but not all that well known, inherited trait shared by 15-20% of the population. Bright and very creative people who have a more finely tuned nervous system and process incoming information and subtleties in their environment more deeply than the non-highly sensitive people, and because of that often times can become overwhelmed and need alone time to re-coup and calm their nervous system. What a powerful website.  When I saw your list of the characteristis of HSP, it was scary to see them jumping out at me.

I am going to have to rewiew the content of your website.  I know that I could use some adjustments.  I feel that I have WWIII going on between my heart and head.  Linda

Thank you for all the on-line and off-line messages about the www.HighlySensitivePeople.com website and it's interesting that so many here resonate with the information... it's almost like a Jason'sHSPnetwork... not really, I realize there are probably many here who may not even find it convenient that there are others with different temperaments than theirs, if you know what I mean (?), people who may even refer to HSPs as being "drama queens" or "too thin skinned" and people who "take things too personally" and that they ought to "just get over it,"  etc., etc.

Part of my mission is to reach those people and make them aware of this 15-20% of the population that has a different and more finely tuned nervous system and who by their nature process and ruminate on incoming subtleties in their environment and may get overwhelm and need alone time, etc. It may be inconvenient at times for them to deal with HSPs, however these Highly Sensitive People are some of the brightest and most creative people they’ll ever meet and when they start to understand and accepted this inherited trait of high sensitivity the world become a better and happier and healthier place for everyone.

I am very thankful for those who are helping get the word out about this important, but unfortunately not that well known known trait.

I want to also invite you to visit Dr. Pat Allen's website www.drpatallen.com because she call these people her “Alphas” those people who are in touch with their masculine and feminine energies and who have an on going tug-of-war between their head and their heart. I’m going to guess that at least some of you relate... am I correct?
