In addition to her entrepreneurial work, Cathy also has corporate experience with two Fortune 100 companies. She walked away from a successful corporate technology career to focus on her life’s purpose of enhancing and advancing the lives of others. Her professional experience in the male-dominated technology industry affords her the ability to speak from the heart on many topics related to career and life success. She has been recognized with numerous awards for outstanding leadership, project management, training, and employee development. She is a member of PWN, National Speakers Association, NAFE, and is a National Premier Coach with eWomenNetwork. Cathy is certified in Diversity Training, Professional Speaking, Customer Service, and Life coaching.
For two consecutive years, Cathy was recognized as the Black Achiever of the Year within the Community. This award recognizes African-American professionals for their career accomplishments and commitment to mentoring youth. She has also been recognized in the Who’s Who Black Louisville, Center for Leadership Development, and many other mentoring programs.
Cathy has a B.S. in Computer Science from Bellarmine University, Louisville, Kentucky. Beginning her career at IBM Corporation, she has received numerous performance awards at both IBM and Brown-Forman Corporation.
Cathy hosts an internet-based talk radio show entitled Living By Design. Since its debut in May 2008, the show has enjoyed a worldwide listenership in excess of 100,000. Both the archived and live shows are in high demand. The show focuses on the enhancement and advancement of lives through topics related to self, health, and wealth improvement. The weekly show is an hour in length, and Cathy has conducted interviews with New York Times bestselling authors such as Kimberla Lawson Roby, Zig Ziglar, Dr. Ian Smith, Barbara Corcoran, Dr. Lisa Love, and Simon T. Bailey. She has also hosted listener appreciation shows featuring special guests such as Grammy award winning Mr. Howard Hewett, and daytime star of the Young & Restless, Mr. Eric Braeden. Cathy is a weekly featured host on the Blogtalk Radio network.
