First, look down below in the lower right hand corner of your footer bar and you'll see a brand new "Notification" box next to the yellow star for favorites.
Similar to what you see on FB, it alerts you of when you have a comment/email waiting your attention. As you can see by now, it lights up with a red box and white number on top of that computer graphic.
With the touch of a button you can choose to read or hide each notification before moving onto the next.
Second, you now have the ability to "Like/Unlike" every content thread on the site. Just scan through your Update stream and you'll see the appropriate buttons.
Again similar but quite unique from FB, you'll see a pink thumbs up followed by blue weblinks highlighting each member who chose to get involved.
Third, we are super excited to introduce a brand new "Update Box" to go with your "Comment Box." Log onto your profile page and you'll see it towards the top.
This brand new feature is an AWESOME way to create a daily dialogue with your friends. Post random thoughts, meaningful quotes and whatever moves you.
According to my 3rd grade math, these latest rounds of gems represent over 260 Brand New Upgrades since Jan 15th. Please keep in mind that every one of these crown jewels is in beta format and will continue to improve throughout the year.
